Thurs. May 29th

Twenty children showed up this afternoon for the felt sculptures! Marianne McCann (pictured in the colorful dress) helped kids make little felt gnomes.  A lot of fun for everyone!  Marianne’s book, “Felt Sculptures” is now available for loan in the Library.  It has patterns and directions for making many different kinds of felt creations.

Mr. Lemoncello’s Library Game

On March 21, based on the New York Times bestseller kid’s book, Escape from Mr. Lemoncello’s Library by Chris Grabenstein, local youngsters had a chance to test out their problem solving skills. They were asked to:

  • Hunt for clues in the books!
  • Unlock the pieces to make the Rivendell School District Puzzle

This was followed by prizes and pizza for all!

Book Talk by Vermont Author Ron Krupp

On Saturday, January 24, an enthusiastic group of gardening fans heard Vermont author Ron Krupp talk about his new book, The Woodchuck Returns to Gardening. The book is part journal, part glossary, part poetry and totally great fun. As one reviewer noted, “…You’ll find tasty morsels on every page.”

And talking about tasty morsels, after Ron’s talk, there were great snacks made available by Library Lynn and the ladies from the Made In Vershire Shop.
