Join us on February 21, 2026!
We are thrilled to invite you to the VerShare Snowshoe-a-thon on February 21st, 2026! This decades-old tradition is OUR BIG annual fundraiser supporting the VerShare Community Summer Camp—and we hope you’ll join in to snowshoe, give, and celebrate!
This year’s Snowshoe-a-thon is extra special as we raise funds for the 25th Annual VerShare Community Summer Camp, a free, week-long program that has enriched the lives of more than 600 kids from Vershire and surrounding towns. Save the date: our 2026 camp will run from August 3-7, and there will be opportunities to volunteer and help make the week magical!
THE MISSION
In 2025, the camp provided a transformative, completely free experience for over 120 campers. All meals were donated, and every activity was led by community members and counselors, many of whom were once campers themselves. Camp grew by more than 30 campers last year, and we have increased our event fundraising goal to $18,000.
THE IMPACT OF YOUR GIFT
It costs about $200 to provide a week of camp for one kid. Almost all the money raised goes toward stipends for our amazing directors, teen counselors, and activity leaders, meaning your support stays right here in the local community.
